Studio Falki was founded by Samar Singh Rana (B.Arch., M.Sc.Tech.Arch.), an architect with international experience from India and Denmark. His career spans diverse projects including residences, schools and mixed use developments, alongside teaching and research at Aalborg University.
With a specialization in acoustic design, Studio Falki brings an added dimension to architectural practice - creating buildings that not only look and function well but also sound right. Holistically, the practice emphasizes Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) addressing daylight, ventilation, and air quality to foster health, comfort, and overall well-being among users.
All design interventions are guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Sustainable strategies are embedded early in the design process, enhancing building performance, energy efficiency, and resilience.
